Team Leader – (Adolescent Boys)
» Team Leader – (Adolescent Boys)
Team Leader will assist the Unit Manager in clinical management of residential program providing supervision to Residential Counselors responsible for the direct care of residents. This position requires 1 shift team leader supervisory duties every other week in addition to direct-care responsibilities in our Residential Adolescent Boys Program mostly in the Evening. Requires supervision of staff, treatment planning, staffing reports, assistance in MD medical rounds, and assistance in communication process with multi-disciplinary team members & outside agencies. Must possess strong leadership, problem solving, communication and team-building skills. Must be able to function independently with minimum supervision. Day/evening rotation every other weekend. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field and 2 years professional experience working with children; 1 year must be CRF; or High school diploma or GED with 5 years professional experience working with children; 2 years must be CRF; or A combination of education and experience approved by the lead regulatory authority. Family Therapist needed immediately. Current license in VA as LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LCP by the Department of Health Regulatory Board strongly preferred, but will accept License Eligible Clinician. Must be able to perform complex diagnostic clinical planning and therapy including individual, administration, as well as participate on all treatment team activities.
Must be experienced with treating severely emotionally disturbed children or adolescents with demonstrated expertise providing services. One (1) year experience treating children ages 6-12 preferred. Master’s degree in a human service curriculum (i.e. social work, psychology or counseling) and 3-4 years of progressively responsible clinical and clinical administrative experience. (Full time)

» Foster Care Case Worker
Therapeutic Foster Care has an immediate opening for a case worker to provide case management for children and families. Responsibilities include monitoring and supervising foster care placements, treatment planning, response to crisis on-call, linking clients to community resources/services to ensure continued stability in the community and home. Completion of home study re-evaluations is also required. Must be able to maintain flexible schedule. A baccalaureate degree in social work or Human Services related field and 1 (one) year of experience in providing casework services to children and families; or in any field plus 2 (two) years of experience in providing casework services to children and families. » Community Living Programs Director
This position requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience in providing casework services to children and their families with 2 of those years in a Child-Placing Agency. At least 1 year of experience as an administrator or supervisor of casework services is required. Requires a Doctor’s or Master’s degree in social work from a University accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a Master’s in Psychology, Sociology, Special Education or Counseling. Duties include supervision of staff, case management and back-up consultation to on-call staff. This person works closely with and reports to the Director of Community Based Services and works with a team of professionals who provide this position support in the areas of Foster Care Recruitment, Medical Records, Utilization Review, Training and Personnel. Utilization Case Manager – Clinical
» Clinical Utilization Case Manager
Clinical Utilization Case Manager will provide a supportive clinical link between the clinical team, the Center and external case management companies to support justification and documentation of clinical care. The Clinical Utilization Case Manager reviews and collates information necessary to support clinical service delivery, maintains accurate and detailed case management records as required by regulatory agencies and managed care companies, and collects and evaluates data necessary to continually improve the quality of care provided. Minimum caseload of 20 patients. Active RN licensure required. BA or BS in a Human Services field preferred with 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting. Working knowledge of MS Office suite required. (Full-time)
Counselors – Residential
» Residential Counselor
Residential Counselors provide direct care to our youth to ensure safety and protection of their human rights in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Counselors guide clients to develop necessary skills through role modeling and build therapeutic relationships with clients. Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field and six (6) months experience working with emotionally disturbed children preferred, but High School diploma + six (6) months experience is a minimum. Current DMV transcript of less than 30 days old will be required at time of interview. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. (Full-time) (Part-time) (Sub/Flex)
» Charge Nurses
Registered nurse as Charge Nurse needed for the 12 bed residential dorms for children and adolescents. Candidate will provide selected nursing care for emotionally disturbed children and adolescents within the framework of the nursing process and TJC guidelines, the Human Rights Plan and established policies and procedures of the Center per assigned shift. Duties may include admissions, discharges, triage, MD rounds, staffings, medication administration, assessment, de-escalation, therapeutic communication, intervention specific to presenting problem e.g. anxiety, anger, etc. Psychiatric nursing experience preferred. Minimum qualifications include: a graduate of accredited school of nursing; and current status as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia required. Day, evening and night shift, includes every other weekend and every other holiday. (Full-time) (Part-time)

If you recently surrendered or still possess an out-of-state drivers license, please obtain the out-of-state driving record from the applicable state authority. In addition, all other documentation such as educational verification (copy of transcripts and Diploma) and any original license/ certification required for a position must be presented at the time of interview.
