On Monday, September 12, 2016, Rob McCartney, CEO, made a donation of a left-handed acoustic guitar to The Center. This guitar was presented to Stephanie King in our Education Department. Stephanie is a music therapist and runs The Center’s music program which involves conducting choirs, voice lessons, guitar lessons and other music related activities. 

The guitar was purchased by Rob at the “Red Shoe at the Zoo” silent auction and fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk.

Stephanie voiced that she was thrilled to receive this new addition because we currently do not have a guitar for our left-handed students.
