The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) recently honored The Barry Robinson Center (BRC) school as a NASET School of Excellence for 2021. BRC has received the NASET School of Excellence designation every year since 2016, as well as in 2014 and 2013.

Each year since 2008, NASET selects qualified licensed private special education schools in the United States for this distinction. Selection as a NASET School of Excellence is the highest honor a private special education school can achieve through the professional association. Schools must meet rigorous professional criteria and demonstrate exceptional dedication, commitment and achievement in the field of special education.
“This recognition from NASET validates all of the work we do at the BRC school to serve our residents,” said Vice President of Education Eric Krumich. “We pay close attention to all aspects of our education program, to help our residents stay on track academically while they’re in treatment.”
Over the past year, enhancements to BRC’s education program include investments in staff, curriculum and technology. The program continues to evolve and grow to meet the needs of residents.
“We’re proud to receive this NASET recognition again because it really honors our teachers and staff,” Krumich said. “They work hard to advance our mission and provide the best possible learning environment for our residents.”
