Home – a place where families typically feel most comfortable, in familiar surroundings where they’ve created a sense of belonging and identity. A place where families live, work, play and make memories. A place of safety and privacy.
For families with a child or teen facing serious emotional or behavioral challenges, their home can also be a place for counseling that helps restore children and families to improved functioning and relationships.
Through its HomeBase program, The Barry Robinson Center provides two types of in-home services for children and teens.
Intensive In-Home Services (IIH) for children and teens ages 5-17 who are at risk for removal from their home due to serious behavioral and emotional difficulties, or who are transitioning back into their home from an out-of-home placement.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children and teens ages 2-17 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other diagnoses.
We provide in-home services in Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
