Parent Visitation Resumes with Protocols
Beginning June 4, 2020, parents may resume visits with their children and teens at The Barry Robinson Center (BRC) campus, following specific protocols to decrease potential exposure to COVID-19.
BRC staff worked closely with public health professionals and parents to develop safe and appropriate protocols for visitation. Parents received detailed information earlier this week to prepare for visits.
Protocols address visiting hours, scheduling visits, COVID-19 screenings, wearing masks, limiting visitors to two people per resident, and sanitizing procedures.
As parent visitation proceeds in the coming days and weeks, BRC will continue to monitor all COVID-19 information and respond as needed to protect the health and safety of residents, employees and guests on campus.
Other measures that BRC put into place in mid-March for employees regarding working from home, self-monitoring and traveling restrictions remain in effect. Learn more about BRC’s response plan.
