Next Step to Success is a new initiative to advance The Barry Robinson Center’s 88-year-old mission – to improve the lives of children and families. This exciting program targets Norfolk youth using an innovative blueprint to teach young individuals the power of good character that they all possess. This blueprint is known as the Success Sequence. It’s a sequence with three steps that has been shown to significantly improve the likelihood of success for our youth later in prime adulthood.
The program’s mission is to empower youth to build the independent, resilient character they need to earn success and enjoy happy, fulfilled lives. The program accomplishes this by teaching core values, effective problem-solving skills, communication, social and daily life skills, how to avoid and minimize risky behaviors, increase financial literacy, strategies for motivation, emotion and self-regulation skills plus more!
Let us help your youth tap into the resiliency and grit we know they have to be healthy and successful individuals!
